Digital Product Delivery

The Polar Shopify Theme is a digital product delivered instantly upon successful payment. When you complete your purchase:

  • You receive immediate access to download the complete theme files
  • A unique license key is generated and delivered to your email
  • AI credits are allocated to your account immediately

Once your license key is delivered, the product is considered fully delivered.Digital products cannot be "returned" as they remain in your possession after delivery.

What You Receive (Complete Product)

Your purchase includes the following—this is the complete product as advertised:

  • Complete Shopify theme codebase (Liquid templates, CSS, JavaScript)
  • All sections, blocks, and theme customization options
  • A unique license key for one Shopify store
  • Access to AI features (chat, try-on, voice search) based on your plan
  • Monthly AI credit allocation
  • Festival auto-theming functionality
  • Email support for technical issues

What Is NOT Included (Not Grounds for Refund)

The following are explicitly NOT included in any Polar license:

  • Demo images, product photos, or lifestyle photography from previews
  • Sample content, product descriptions, or marketing copy
  • Theme setup, installation, or configuration services
  • Design customization or content creation services
  • A "complete" or "ready-to-use" website
  • Training, consulting, or phone support
  • Rollover of unused AI credits
  • Usage on multiple stores

Industry Standard: This is how ALL Shopify themes are sold—on the official Shopify Theme Store, ThemeForest, and other marketplaces. Themes are structural frameworks. The theme being a "framework" that requires your content is expected behavior, NOT a defect.

Situations That Do NOT Qualify for Refund

Refunds will NOT be provided for:

Product Understanding Issues

  • Claiming the theme is "incomplete" because demo images aren't included
  • Not understanding that Shopify themes require setup and content
  • Expecting a ready-to-sell store without adding your own products and content
  • Expecting setup services to be included with the license

Change of Mind

  • Deciding the theme doesn't match your vision after purchase
  • Change in business requirements or preferences
  • Finding an alternative theme or solution you prefer
  • No longer needing the product

Technical Skill Issues

  • Inability to install, configure, or customize the theme
  • Lack of technical knowledge to use Shopify's theme customizer
  • Difficulty following documentation

Third-Party Issues

  • Compatibility issues with third-party Shopify apps
  • Issues caused by your own custom code modifications
  • Problems with your Shopify account, domain, or hosting

AI Feature Issues

  • AI-generated content not meeting your expectations
  • Running out of AI credits before month end
  • Third-party AI service (OpenAI/Google) availability issues

Subscription Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation stops future billing but does NOT entitle you to any refund for the current or past billing periods.

How to Cancel

What Happens After Cancellation

  • Your subscription remains active until the end of your current billing period
  • You retain access to all features until expiration
  • After expiration, AI features stop working
  • Basic theme files continue to function as a standard Shopify theme (without AI)
  • Unused AI credits expire and are NOT refundable
  • No refund is issued for any remaining subscription time

Pausing Your Subscription

If you need to temporarily stop your subscription:

  • Pause your autopay through Razorpay
  • No charges during the pause
  • AI features become inactive once the current period ends
  • Resume anytime by reactivating autopay
  • No refunds for paused subscriptions

Failed Payments

If a renewal payment fails:

  • We attempt to charge your payment method multiple times over 7 days
  • You receive email notifications about the failed payment
  • If all attempts fail, your subscription is suspended
  • Reactivate by updating your payment method

Exceptions (Handled Case-by-Case)

We may, at our sole discretion, address the following situations:

  • Duplicate Charges: If you were accidentally charged twice for the same subscription, contact us immediately. We will investigate and reverse the duplicate charge if confirmed.
  • Unauthorized Transactions: If you believe a charge was made without your authorization, contact your bank to dispute the charge.

These exceptions do not constitute refunds. Any decision to reverse a charge is at our sole discretion.

Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

⚠️ Filing a chargeback after receiving the product constitutes fraud.

We strongly encourage you to contact us before initiating any chargeback or payment dispute.

Consequences of fraudulent chargebacks:

  • We contest all illegitimate chargebacks with full documentation (delivery confirmation, license records, download logs)
  • Customers who file fraudulent chargebacks are permanently banned
  • We reserve the right to pursue legal action, including recovery of product value, chargeback fees, and legal costs
  • Your details may be reported to fraud prevention databases
